Can CAP Max TIII have a beacon CC similar to a CAP+ Rest Ch?

It appears L8-27 is doing just that, moved to 461.075 after my last post and currently is still pulsing. DSD+ continues to indicate TIII with same unchanged neighbors.
IDK..
L8-36 has returned from isolation. No other changes of note.
All I can say is that there’s a thread in the Indiana form about ERS – OCI. They have a wide area to connect plus system which is being replaced by a capacity max T3 system and over there. They’ve experienced some of the same things, and somebody in that thread had mentioned, suggesting that they knew what they were talking about, that a particular site could operate in a mode that supports both T3 and Cap+. I don’t know if that’s only a transitional thing or if that’s something that could be maintained for the lifetime. I don’t know if any of it’s true. But it has been reported before.

It pulses about once every second. 60 BPM..
It's signal is off the scale compared to the constant CC mode previously observed from the same tower.
Apparently DSD÷ is happy decoding this mode.
It must be a real thing.. LOL

The Quarryville pulse has had an NL update as well.

I see the above L8-25 which may also be..

Site 141-43 Waynesboro PA Quirauk (Franklin) aka: Hagerstown MD (Washington) WQXN596

Neighbor List: 8 9 57

  • LCN = 1 TX = 454.25000 RX = 459.25000 DCC = 10 CC
  • LCN = 2 TX = 464.30000 RX = 469.30000 DCC = 10 CC
  • LCN = 3 TX = 464.60000 RX = 469.60000 DCC = 10 CC
  • LCN = 4 TX = 454.47500 RX = 459.47500 DCC = 10 CC
I suggest this based on the update to L8-27 which might be a better match distance wise for New Cumberland/Reeser's Summit..

L8-29 LSN 219 =

I hope to make it out for a drive with PC/Dongles in tow heading generally to the Red Lion 28? area and see what's up there & naturally any other signals that may come in. Reeser's 29 or 25?, Cornwall 12, Hanover 15, York 39? for L-8, H3, 141. ect..
No changes on L8-36

Are you observing the bursting on 461.900 at this site? It appears to have gone away for me, trying to determine if tropo related
Just observed the ID come through on the SDR, the bursts ceased

One request, Brent. Please use the FCC names when submitting, or at least make sure the FCC name is is included with any other name that you have for each site that you submit.

Great job on the sleuthing. You deserve a Starbucks card or something. I don't think you're gonna get one, but you deserve it lol

Thanks

I'll include FCC License, Name on license, Name Technicians Use (although you won't hear them anymore), and any other addition names where applicable. What is the preferred location data format? I'll try to be a good dog.
It'll take a day or 2..

You don’t need to submit location data. I’ll grab that off of the license. What we use is not what you would see on the actual license on the FCC site. We use the coordinates as you see them on the license when you look it up on your reference without any of the crazy quotes, single quotes degrees and stuff like that.

Tnx
