While Huntress is used in the US, FOOTROPE is still used in Canada.
That post was from 2007. I have not heard FOOTROPE used in Canada recently. The only NORAD callsign I've heard used up here in Canada is SIDECAR. Looking through the forum and see FOOTROPE is still being reported in use in US Airspace in the NE, most recently in W105. Also the AP/1B lists FOOTROPE using 301.600 and 314.200 for AR631. Although this is the only mention of it in that document.

In the Mid atlantic area, has anyone noticed FAR fewer helicopters in the DC Metro area....

I ask because I normally get 2 to 3 helicopters every hour in my area, (depending on the time of day) and in the past week or week and a half, I've heard ONE.

Thanks
Joel

Nice! CLEAN-02 seemed to cut them loose over Illinois.I guess with extra ER fuel tanks can make it to KMTN :)
Assume CLEAN-12 will do the same tomorrow with second wave.

Few minutes ago FORGE-90 MC-130J #21-5965 inbound Harrisburg on CP 395.100 from Eglin Fla area.
Probably were at Hurlburt Field with the other Special Ops folks.. The 193 SOW getting used to their new bird.
New callsign for them or Fla mission callsign?

AR-20NE is Reserved for tomorrow 8am local 1200z-1330z FL240-270. Don't get many AR-20 res on weekends.

1430- TABOR flight to 290.500 ZID
Thick cloud deck ceiling in entire area at 1000-1200 feet and some real light misty rain so they will probably spread out some inbound.
See a RCH-824 C-5M #86-0026 from Travis to DM. Maybe for these A-10 guys or to pickup or deliver parts :)

A-10's did spread out..

Crazy Teddy Bear in UK caught a couple US F-35 unrestricted departures today from RAF Lakenheath..
Sometimes the US pilots on Fridays will stage a low altitude to vertical departure for the UK Mil fans surrounding the base.
Fans get a real kick out of it.. I like this myself as well.. :)
