Rene, all,GOLD 61 is dragging two 421st FS F-35s back to CONUS from RAF Lakenheath as TABOR 31 and TABOR 32.
Tails 17-5281 & 17-5247 and they were up on European boom frequency 294.800, CONUS ones probably 282.000 or 396.200.
Hope this helps,
René.
Thanks Ed, appreciate the feedback !!Caught these guys on recordings yesterday from 1515-1540z on 294.8 mostly chatting away, no boom type comms.
Refueling must have been done at that time.
Where are they keeping the F-35s? I'll be heading up to Norfolk hopefully sometime soon to check out the POW. Last time I saw a British ship in Hampton Roads was the HMS Queen Elizabeth - unmistakable with the ski ramp. Some here may catch some RAF F-35B coms down Norfolk way the next few months.

By the way, I ran into four very nice gentlemen from Holland outside of Oceana on Monday following the show. Of coarse they knew you! (No, not really. But hey, it reminded me of you and the great time we had at Jack Painter's house!)
Yeah I met Jack guess was back in early 2000's as he drove up from Oceana to the Willow Grove NAS airshow.Ed
Ahhh!!! Good ol' Jack Painter. Now there was a fine gentleman. And a great milair hobbyist as well. Taught me alot when I first started in this hobby.
