US Navy moving ships into Eastern Med and says will be adding F-35's. I guess F-35's
could operate out of Cyprus RAF base.. Plenty of F-16's in Italy etc.. Gonna be a long haul war.

Expect the C-17 Fleet to be kinda busy. WashPost reports:

Israeli officials have made several specific requests to Washington in response to the Hamas military offensive, including for a replenishment of Iron Dome interceptors, small-diameter bombs, ammunition rounds for machine guns and heightened cooperation on intelligence-sharing related to potential military activities in southern Lebanon, according to people familiar with the matter.

Defence News says…”Along with the Ford the U.S. is sending the cruiser USS Normandy, destroyers USS Thomas Hudner, USS Ramage, USS Carney, and USS Roosevelt and the U.S. is augmenting Air Force F-35, F-15, F-16, and A-10 fighter aircraft squadrons in the region.”

0937 Local, RCH663 (C17A, 08-8190, 437th AW) inbound to ACY. On Devil Ops, 261.000, requesting 100k upload.
I think the 177th FW is scheduled for Southeast Asia deployment.. Picking up the gear? Hopefully they have better tanker luck than the DM A-10,s did.
Last week heard Colorado ANG F-16 land at A/C. Possible joint ANG deployment?

With the 43rd FS at Langley, had some new freqs passed to me by a friend monitoring from Norfolk:

298.800
274.200
227.200

No channel numbers available at this time, but they are likely aux presets.
I show 274.2 as Clinch Control (Dam Neck) - not sure how old that listing is

C-17 06-6155 landed in Tel Aviv supposedly from Qatar yesterday, this supposedly is assigned to Travis. Supposedly a Stewart C-17 is also on the ground.

0833 hrs local, Clean 11 KC-10A 86-0038 Off from Dover headed North now heading east from Rhode Island.
Checking tape after work here first two departing A-10's were TABOR-67,68 spares followed by
TABOR-61 flight of 4 at 07:29 local.
TABOR-61 announces TABOR 62 will rtb Martin State and "TABOR-61 continuing on as a flight of 5"
Heard TABOR-62 back inbound Martin State but no IFE declared so assume some minor mech problem.

Much later on at 11:40am local TABOR-62 flight of two up at 8K with information Yankee request.(assume KMTN Atis info)
Nothing heard after that so prob just up for a test flight.Maybe with one of the other spare DM A-10's.

Guys,

Just got a note from fellow listener in KY.

Our fellow radio hobbyist, Larry Van Horn passed away over the weekend. No details other than he passed away "due to a recent illness"

Mentioned and being discussed at link below since yesterday...
