I wonder if when balloon was over the Northwest US A couple EA/18G Growlers with all that high powered nose end jamming gear
couldn't have made electronics difficult on that ballloon

COBRA-47 will need tanker soon or call it a night. Maybe they hit tanker already on way back down South but doesn't look like it altitude ways on ADSB. Seems to be covering just NW of Nashville.Prob just watching it closely in case it suddenly drops or changes course.

Chinese are playing US Mil Site Bingo.
Been tracking B270E02 since last night when I saw it doing my normal sweeps. Zooming in to almost the closest view, it has a little motion but not much at all (Seen in one pic)
With hearing about the Russian sub off the East coast a bit, and then about these balloons that are in the air which are allegedly Chinese, I did see some NOAA pathing that shows it will arc down through Missouri and end up over in the DC area.
Interesting enough, there's an unusual R135 scan going on right now, COBRA47, near the Missouri/Tennessee borders. I see R135s frequently over the US and they have their usual patterns, but this is not usual (seen in the other pic)

Anyone else noticed the recent up kick of fighters using ADS-B?
As I've previously mentioned AV8 Harriers from MCAS Cherry Point started using them several weeks ago on a near daily basis. Currently seeing roughly 4 what I suspect are F-18's off the coast of Savannah with ADS-B Transponders. At first I thought they were the contract aggressors however they originated from MCAS Beaufort. With that being said MCAS Beaufort host foreign pilots on a regular basis for F35 training however I believe they still fly US aircraft.
I have a feeling we'll slowly start to see more non conventional military aircraft start using transponders on a more regular basis in certain areas.
