Looks like DOD had plans in work the whole time - just waiting for the right time and location to initialize the process.

CAP tanker Igor 21 is KC-135 from TN ANG at McGhee-Tyson at Knoxville.
TFR over Syracuse (pres) & aircraft diverting to Albany to "wait it out". 2:12pm Sat - Haven't heard any CAP in place from here - 260.9 "was active" earlier but has been quiet of late. Although "afternoon" training sorties have resumed for the weekend qualifiers on 226.3 (coordintion) 226.8 & 314.4 tactical fighter training. All F-35 VT ANG training freqs used in the past.

Actually great plan let's see how good collection abilities are.
I recall the guy talking saying something "we have (something) over Philadelphia and DC (then something to the effect ofI'll contact you again in 90 minutes)".
This SAM should maybe stay in the area so the passengers can watch lol

Can't confirm however a friend sent me saying Huntress advised clear to engage when its 6-8nm from shore. Aim 9X? preferred

POTUS arrived at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base at 2:05. POTUS exited The Beast. Pool shouted are you going to shoot down the balloon? Biden smiled and gave a thumbs up to reporters.
