What does the "X" mean after the frequency 340.2 for KNHK Patuxent Tower?

PATUXENT TOWER : 123.7 340.2X 343.65

PATUXENT GROUND: 120.6 336.4
I'm curious about that, too. Note that 340.2, along with 360.2 are pretty much standard freqs for Navy towers, as is 336.4 for ground control. Norfolk NAS uses 340.2 actively, and I think the same for Willow Grove. Pax may want to have a 'standard' freq available, but only for secondary use.

3.1.1.1.2 ‘On Request’, ‘Receive Only’ and/or ‘Transmit Only’ Frequencies Frequencies which are ‘On Request’, ‘Receive Only’, and/or ‘Transmit Only’ shall be symbolized by the letter ‘X’ (on request), ‘R’ (receive only), ‘T’ (transmit only), following the frequency. Page 29 (3-1)

10:12 MAMBA-1 flight of two followed by
10:18 MANDO-1 flight. got confusing even between pilots on these callsigns. One asked ZDC Ctr, You mean Mando or Mamba?.
