Generally 6 month deployment/assignment so come June someone else will get the job.
USAF ANG Crews and pilots under NORAD get a little extra mission and deployment pay and mission patches/credits for the 6 months even though Stateside though many are Airline pilots who lose some pay with these assignments.
If I had to make a choice between 6 months in Sandpits or 6 months out of A/C I would vote New Jersey
At least in NJ Fam and friends can come visit with you once in a while.

SVF806 and 807 are Swedish Air Force C-130s heading northeast. 807 just flew past New Castle at 21,000 feet, with 806 now over Fredericksburg at 25,000.

Just checked recordings from today and apparently had TREND 81 flight of two pass by me inbound to Barnes (KBAF) working ZBW on 263.05 and 269.475 in the descent from FL230 to FL220. Not sure who they were or where they came from but I'm ASSuming F-15s? Time was between 1704-1717z.

Checking tape from this morning 0700 local a TABOR-11 flight of 6 looking to meet TABOR-17 airspare.
at FL17k.
Then at 0730 local a TABOR-21 flight of 6 non-standard climbing up assume the MD ANG A-10's headed over .
Also a TABOR-27 airpsare? also up. Last heard push ZDC 285.400
Looks like they met up with the GOLD 61,62,71,72 tankers that staged at McGuire and off to Lajes.
