Checking tape from this morning 0700 local a TABOR-11 flight of 6 looking to meet TABOR-17 airspare.
at FL17k.
Then at 0730 local a TABOR-21 flight of 6 non-standard climbing up assume the MD ANG A-10's headed over .
Also a TABOR-27 airpsare? also up. Last heard push ZDC 285.400
Looks like they met up with the GOLD 61,62,71,72 tankers that staged at McGuire and off to Lajes.

Mark

Around 1000 (I think) I heard some chat on 271.4. Thought it was normal MD ANG stuff so didn't pay much attention at the time

That was them. As per visuals down there (not me), 14 jets total took off, 2 spares came back. Followed the tankers as long as I could on ADSB.

Saw short vid clip of RAPTOR-01 F-22 Langley tail FF doing Travis airshow this past weekend..
Raptor-1 team is off till April 20 date down in Florida way so may hear from time to time practicing in the area.

The Ocean City MD airshow is pushed back to late August this year instead of usual Mid June booking.
No T-Bird or Blue Angels this year as very rare that happens but F-22 demo. Scuttlebutt says Blue Angels were not happy about trans options from Wallops Island.
Blue Angels will still be in town in late May for usual Naval Academy graduation.
Also no T-Birds or Angels at Atlantic City airshow in August as well also a First...

Heads up--Looks like 7th FTS T-38 (Talon1) might be headed up to Pease.
Thanks for the heads up today Ron. Unfortunately, I was at work and missed them. If i was home I would have tried to catch them on A-A freqs. I did however, catch them on every UHF ZBW, Portland, Bangor, and Pease freq known to man! They even checked in a couple times on "OLD" ZBW UHF freqs that haven't been used for years but I keep them in the scanners because, "you never know"! From my recordings, they came up into Maine and went to Bangor first. Then as they were heading South, they popped over to VR-840 working FAA on 255.4 letting them know they were going to be in the route for twenty minutes at 500 feet, 360 ground speed. After VR-840 they went to Pease for some Pattern work before landing. A nice tour of the area for a days work! Callsign used was TALON 01 flight of two but showing TN01 on ADSB.

Nothing here Mark. I even had the MD A-10 freqs running just in case this flight happened. No AR, A-A, nothing. Must have been too low and too far South for my reception. Oh well...

Yeah Ed judging by tanker routes they were low at about 16k and turned East a ways South of Nantucket.
Not surprised but Thanks for listening :)

AF1 departed ADW for KRNO and a three day trip to NV, AZ, and TX

Other departures from ADW include 82-8000 which appears to be headed north for flight practice, and RCH3282 01-0193 headed to DFW with POTUS motorcade for upcoming visit.

1005- Venus 31 (C-37 # 99-0402) working Griffin CP (378.1) advising they are RTB ADW. Want info unspecified passed on to SAM-4.

1010- Blackjack 1 (CG MH-65D) working Huntress (139.7) in intercept exercise. Using formatted message to report TOI info. Blackjack calls Bigfoot instead of Huntress. Bigfoot makes several refs to "exercise". Conditions good since I can hear Bigfoot controller.

1017- Couple of McGuire KC-46s (Hobey 41 & 42) on A2A (378.85) currently over Norfolk VA. Alo working Giantkiller (118.125) requesting entry into AR 636 at block FL-260-280.

May have been talking about SAM248 99-0404 as SAM4

99-0404 did a few racetracks and now headed northeast, but did not land (yet)
