PAT UH-60s from Davison.41.850 FM - PL 150.0 (scanner decoded pl 151.4) Helo A-A - Two helos talking.. one mentioned Great Falls, VA.
I've heard this frequency in use in the DC metro area but never found out who was using it.
Thanks Ed,probably dropped them off at Goose Bay as they did on the way over last Month.Rgr Mark. Only comms I caught on recording was the GOLDs A-A on 308.000 at 2141z discussing runway at Pease. Then GOLD 81 had a drogue problem where it wouldn't retract. Made an emergency landing just fine. Runway at Pease was closed for awhile. Not sure of the status at this time (915pm EDT). I had no recordings of fighters landing or passing through on UHF or ZBW.
WHAT A MESS. Lots of helo traffic around. Hearing on news that TFR has been issued for Baltimore Harbor/Key Bridge area. Video of bridge collapse is amazing, eerie, and unbelievable.
TFR starts at noon, probably 1230 arrival in NYC, now back track flight time from ADW + 10 minutes at ADW + 15 minute M1 trip. Actual times are not released until night before.I saw the POTUS schedule has travel on Thursday this week. Have there been any times posted yet? Will be in DC with the wife and would like to get some HMX-1 photos.
Yeah Ron those unlucky 8 road crew folks doing overnight pothole work on the bridge...WHAT A MESS. Lots of helo traffic around. Hearing on news that TFR has been issued for Baltimore Harbor/Key Bridge area. Video of bridge collapse is amazing, eerie, and unbelievable.
144.000 - 148.000 (not including 148.0) is ham radio 2 meter band. 44.74 was an old MSP SYSCOM frequencyYeah Ron those unlucky 8 road crew folks doing overnight pothole work on the bridge...
I notice bridges on Delaware River over the years they have added huge boulder/rock islands surrounding bridge columns
to prevent any vessel from slamming directly into bridge columns. Was curious if this bridge had any such safety barriers like that.
I guess that will all come out in an investigation someday.
Baltimore TFR. 4/1866 NOTAM Details
TFR shows 144.74 as go to MSP freq but I have 44.74 as MSP Med Evac freq.
Tulsa 138th FW is one of my guesses to replace the MAKO's for CAP work.1150- Devil 91 (NJ ANG F-16) working ZDC Millville (363.0)>ZNY Millville (323.3)>ZOB Indian Head (363.075)>ZOB Belmont (291.6) requesting FL400 & cleared direct Tulsa.
Maybe 119th FS Commander going out to Tulsa to check on plans and get the Tulsa guys up to speed on what to expect.Tulsa 138th FW is one of my guesses to replace the MAKO's for CAP work.
