Either that or he punched in 293.6 instead of 298.6 then realized his error. 293.6 is silent since then.
Yeah listening to the calls and sure sounds like practice for anti-piracy patrols.1140- Seems the 177th guys are working anti-ship training. Chat on 298.6 talking about ship with no containers & a "hostile ship"
The NJ site feed is more stable than the PA site feed - might be the older computer used at the PA site.the feeds try to disconnect late in the evening. but they are nice and clear online and audio volume is great now. thanks so much for the feeds!

Here comes Milwaukee KC-135 #57-1514 offshore headed East at FL390 as ROMA-62.ROMA 61 (20-46082) arrived at Rota NAS [LERT] this evening.
He is supporting the 31FW F-16s from Aviano airbase [LIPA], Italy to CONUS next week,

No Blackjack scamble, which probably indicates that they knew it was benign.Did they even try to send up a helicopter to check it out - even if they did not see it visually they may have detected something with the FLIR
Well I appreciate that.....good to know that she enjoys listening to the feed. It's there for everyone to enjoy and have fun listening to our military doing their work.I'm a Civil Air Patrol LT and my youngest daughter listens to SAREX. But I had told her there was another type CAP, combat air patrol, she wanted to hear one of these. Thanks to your feeds, she loves listening to them!
Yeah I heard the eight letter callsign - got the ABOUT part but did not write down the call so I forgot what I heard the last part as (name wise) - sounded nautical to me.Here comes Milwaukee KC-135 #57-1514 offshore headed East at FL390 as ROMA-62.
