Saw a ROMA-82 #63-7992 today inbound Pease from MS ANG.. Maybe for second wave or leg?
Also a ROMA-81 McGuire KC-46 #20-46082 popped up for a few minutes.
Different Coronet mission, these are on Coronet East 060.
They are taking the 52FW F-16s back to Spangdahlem airbase from their Red Flag participation.

Looks like 3 PACK tankers flew to McCord AFB today. PACK93 18-46054, PACK94 18-46053 and PACK95 16-46020 (still in the air).

Also FORCE31 21-46092 305th AMW and BACKY92 19-46065 flew to PAEI today.
Nice catch. Yesterday noticed PACK-91 #18-46050 and PACK-92 #16-46019 do the same destination.
Lots of Pease Pack Tanker Power :)

McGuire KC-46s HIKE46,47 (19-46064, 20-46073 were on a/a 378.85 as they passed over me at 8k ft. Now over Baltimore only HIKE47 is visible on ADSB.
Noticed same thing. Only one was showing. Probably a favor to ATC in that area to avoid ADSB collision alarms.
That HIKE-47,46 was very close overhead A/A and blowing my doors off the radio :)
Odd route southbound right over Balt and DC.

HIKE-47 hanging around Charlotte NC and a Buff or two coming East from Barksdale at same FL-270 may be related.
May meet up south of Blacksburg Va.Bet McGuire KC-46's need some Buff A/R Qualifications.

Only six F-16s made it back home this evening from Andrews AFB as TREND 21 flight.
Supporting tankers were ROMA 71 (20-46082) from Dover AFB to Portsmouth and
ROMA 72 (18-46047) from Portsmouth to RAF Mildenhall [EGUN].

When approaching the UK they were still on their Atlantic boom frequency 286.600, the F-16s later
changed to aux frequency <237.125> and one called WARHAWK ops on 299.850 with their inbound call.

Checking my morning tape from today had ROMAN-71 climbing up and TREND-21 already airborne 0604 local reports
as "6 ship in the climb front to back 10 miles" and will intercept tanker near Atlantic City.
0605 TREND-21 reports at FL-17k and climbing toFL-250 at 0607 local.
Guess tomorrow will be ROMA-81,82 and TREND-31 on the second wave.

139.700 (AM) - BLACKJACK-1 in DC area working PANTHER (assuming this is JADOC Ground Station) SPARKLE system testing

There's a frequency: 139.150 Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) Bolling AFB Wash DC-Sparkle System;
that's also shared with DC ANG 121st FS and NJ ANG but I've never heard any Sparkle system related activity on it.

I've been trying to find a good explanation of what the Sparkle system does. Anyone?

Within past hour, Milair emergency at RDU airport, an Apache helo landed after RDU CFR Dispatch declared an alert 3. Smoke in cockpit, appears fire put out by air crew with fire extinguisher after emergency landing. Unsure is it was Zeus 13, 22-03455, AE74E2 or Zeus14, 21-03416, AE748D, though I think it was latter. Airport CFR and Wake Co Fire units dispatched.
