NATION-11 in the area with Huntress 260.900 and tanker boom 231.625 with NOBLE-11Nation11 KC-46A (20-46082) departed Pease about 0622 and shortly turned off its ADSB transponder once it got over water.
Yep - handled very well both by flight crew and ATC. Engine failures occur - could even have been some FOD that finally broke loose - won't know until the SDR and incident report is posted.Yes Terry all the training in the World doesn't make a engine failure no big deal outside the simulator.
It takes a certain well trained crew to handle correctly.. Course have heard a few C-130's into KILG with engine out and
no big deal as they scramble the local fire Dept etc as C-130's like B747's have 4 engines.
Just my admiration for these well trained flight crews!

So they both lost their link connection to Huntress - so they can see the TOIs displayed on their HUDs
Andrew and Atlantic City both host ground stations for the Link 16 network
