Mainsail on HFGCS (4724, 8992, 11175, 15016) is broadcasting "Test Broadcasts" in ascending order (Test Broadcast #1, #2, etc.) every 15 minutes at 16:30, 16:45, 17:00, 17:15.. it sounds like they are saying it is for the "Prick 160 Field Demonstration Two". Not familiar with what that would be.

Edit: Possibly this - AN/PRC-160(V) Wideband HF/VHF Manpack Radio

Thanks for asking, it will allow me to fix my logging as it wasn't noted. Using SDR# and Airspy, I did not have my P25 decoder on, and I was scanning AM, so will assume AM. (it does sound terrible though).
Yeah I had one radio sitting on the frequency all day - nothing from Cape May County

14:50 EST RIVER11 AE61CE 76-1551 F5-N headed to Pax River - working Washington Center on UHF only

In Ron's list shows as:
RIVER F-18A VFA-204, RIVER RATTLERS NAS New Orleans LA

Should it be changed to:
RIVER F-5N VFC-204 ... ?

It's unclear to me if they now fly both F/A-18 and F-5N or have moved on to only F-5N

VFC-204 Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VFC-204

Fighter Squadron Composite 204 (VFC-204), also known as the "River Rattlers", is a United States Navy Reserve adversary squadron, slated to fly the F-5N/F Tiger II after having previously flown the F/A-18C/D Hornet. The squadron is based out of Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, Louisiana, and is part of the U.S. Navy Reserve's Tactical Support Wing. Their radio callsign is "River" and their tail code is "AF".

2020s

In April 2022, plans emerged that VFA-204 would be redesignated Fighter Squadron Composite 204 (VFC-204) in October 2022 and that the squadron is slated to transition to the F-5N/F Tiger II, with the required aircraft being transferred from VFC-13, another Navy adversary squadron. The NAS Fallon, Nevada based VFC-13 will in turn receive recently retired F-16 Fighting Falcons from the U.S. Air Force.

As of 1 November 2022, the squadron has been redesignated Fighter Squadron Composite 204 (VFC-204).

Yeah it had me confused because the tracking showed a F5 versus the website saying F18 - after looking further down it showed them losing the F18 and gaining the F5 .... sort of backwards but oh well.
