SCORE84 out of Pax River offshore NC at low altitude. Anyone got them on HF or know what they're doing out there?
Hopefully testing some torpedo drops from their wing pods :)
Very rare to see a P-8 with torpedoes externally loaded but they have that capability..
Hopefully someone gets some pics someday... Navy seems to keep that a secret.. Heard stories they can even drop them
from 20k feet. Would not like to be on a Sub with a P-8A hanging around.

OMNI-1769 B-772 into McGuire this morning on CP 134.100 to pickup some National Guard troops
for pre-deployment training at Fort Bliss.. The 44th Infantry Brigade team from NJ is deploying 1500 troops to
Centcom areas. Lots of Jersey folks over there already.

(The Team's next stop is Fort Bliss in Texas before they leave the country. They will return to New Jersey in December, according to Lt. Col Agneta Murnan.
She said that several hundred members of the 177th Fighter Wing of the New Jersey Air National Guard are also deployed in the Middle East.)

1432 hrs local; Picking up AR talk on 318.000. I have it listed as a AR frequency unknown.

The only tanker(s) in the area is a KC-135 58-004 currently east of NYC. It took over for KC-135 59-1500 which is inbound to Pease and came from Mildenhall.
I show 318.0 as air refueling area E. Good catch!

Okay answering my own question here........BLUE 01 and BLUE 03 with RETRO 51 - 52 - 53.

RETRO 51 flight was cleared direct Norfolk - > Tar River - > Direct to the airport

Some interesting messages passed via SatCom. BLUE 01 is the aircraft that came from the UK. BLUE 03 was the delayed tanker that caused all the following messages. Note oldest message at the top....

AE04C8 BLUE01 MR4 FIGHTER MRB AT LPLA HAS BAD WX. DCO SUGGESTS EGHQ AS ALTERNATIVE. CONFIRM RECEIPT OF THIS MESSAGE.

AE04C8 BLUE01 MR5 BLUE 03 IS HAVING MX ISSUES. MAY BE DELAYED UP TO 45 MINUTES. RECOMMEND CALCULATING ANY ADDITIONAL OFFLOAD OR POTENTIAL TO DRAG FIGHTERS FARTHER. IF WE CAN GET FIGHTERS TO CONUS THAT IS PREFERED.

AE04C8 BLUE01 MR6 KLFI CLOSED. KNKT UNAVAILABLE. KBAF IS ACCEPTABLE. WX AT KBAF CEILING 1000. BEST OPTION IF FUEL SUPPORTS IS KDOV. KBGR MIGHT ALSO BE OPTION. FIGHTERS CAN MAKE DECISION BASED ON RCVD FUEL. BLU3 REPORTS 45-60 MIN DELAYED

AE04C8 BLUE01 MR9 BLUE03 WILL MEET FORMATION AT 42N 55W. ESTIMATE 1720Z. WILL ADVISE IF CHANGES. CAN YOU AND RCVRS MAKE IT

AE04C8 BLUE01 MR11 PLS CONFIRM YOU ARE IN FORMATION WITH BLUE03 - TACC

AE04C8 BLUE01 MR12 CAN YOU CONFIRM BLUE03 HAS RCVRS IN TOW. WE DONT HAVE COMMS WITH BLUE03

AE04C8 BLUE01 MR13 CONFIRM RCVRS PASSED OFF TO BLUE03. DID THEY HAVE TO DIVERT. WE HAVE NO COMMS WITH THE 3 TANKER

Further down the New Jersey coast after BLUE 03 had refueled the fighters - they broke off and headed southwest while the fighters followed their flight plan as described above.

NOBLE-11 flight of two returning A/C at 1842 local with ZDC. dropping to 8k with information Romeo (ATIS)

Nice catches on the BLUE tankers guys.

Red Flag 24-1 ended in Vegas Friday so only thing around here we may catch is SJ F-15E's returning to our South and
RAF Typhoons eventually... Course in past have seen sometimes where Red Flag departing units will drop down to Eglin
for additional training and Sun :)
