Yeah since flyovers were 10 seconds late they cut them off. Booooo TV Commercial money more important!
Yes extra wide wings on those F-35's flyover suggests Navy pair of F-35C's
Can't stand the don't-blink-or-you'll-miss-it flyovers. The programming for Sky's F1 coverage usually gives nice, long and lingering shots of any aircraft activity, but for some reason domestic networks here feel three or four seconds is plenty

The four RCH336x planes are headed to EGUN on the same mission
Not surprised.. Things are gonna heat up after today's actions overseas and seems to be unstoppable.

Reminds me of old actor line by Strother Martin the Warden in that old movie Cool Hand Luke..
"Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it.
Well he gets it. And I don't like it anymore than you men"

I personally don't like it either but thats the way life goes on at times in this World.

Anyone particularly experienced with or well versed in COTHEN or HF mil in general? Picked up some very strange things tonight but as they seem possibly connected to an ongoing operation I'd rather not post it all without a bit of a time offset. Message me if you know how things work.
Thanks

2007L - 08Z (USCG District 08 New Orleans) and N18 (C2318) talking about a boat dead in the water, assistance refused, and no cutters from LANT, District 8, or Mexico able to assist. Last position report of 2318 was about in the middle of the Gulf.
HC-144A C2318 coming back now, registration is an error (not Navy H-60).

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but if you managed to pick up some very strange things tonight don't you think others did too? If it is over the airwaves in the clear it can't be too much of a secret.

COTHEN is used by CG & DHS (DEA, Border Patrol) assets. They usually transmit an ALE (Automatic Link Establishment) "handshake burst" then will go into clear voice USB comms once contact is established. Sometimes some interesting comms on human trafficking ops, counter drug ops or SAR ops.
