So, who is going next Saturday? I haven't been to a hamfest in years. I may go. I used to stop by Radio City to get advanced ticket for hamfests, but it looks like Midwinter Madness has ticket sales at the door only.

The 34th Annual Midwinter Madness Hobby Electronics Show is at the Buffalo Civic Center in Buffalo, MN. This is a nice drive out Hwy 55 West from the Twin Cities with free on-site parking and a short walk to the building entrance.
Admission is still only $8 and children under 15 are free. Talk-in on the KØLTC Repeater 147.000 +600 - Call for KØLTC.

QSL Card Checking for ARRL awards will be available at the ARRL booth. Bring your stack of QSL cards and find out if you qualify for one of the coveted awards.

What to bring to the VE Test Session:
Government issued photo ID (i.e.: Drivers License; School ID if a minor)
Amateur Radio License original AND photocopy (if currently licensed)
Know your Social Security Number (if currently NOT licensed)
Pen (for paperwork) and Pencil (for answers)
Calculator without saved formulas (we have loaner basic calculators)
Session fee $15.00 check or cash (prefer check made out to: ARRL/VEC)
Vendor/Club Registration
Advance table registration closes Wednesday March 2nd. A limited number of tables may be available the day of the event.
8 foot Swap Table: $25.00 each
Electricity: $15.00/vendor
Club Table: $20.00 each (Clubs tables may not sell personal items on behalf of its members.)
