The alert went out at 2:26 PM for investigation of smoke.
Chief 38 went in route by four wheeler up the mountain behind his house to check it out.
Couldn't gain access, by this time 3 other companies were in route.
Maryland State Police helo Trooper 5 was requested for spotting.
T5 said that it was about 3 acres big.
at this time 8 companies, the DNR, the department of forestry, and Maryland State Police T5 is on location.
