Longmont Fire only uses the conventional channel for fire tone out. All voice traffic will be heard on the digital system. Even the ambulance to hospital reports are on DTRS. Longmont PD has a conventional patch on channel one (and sometimes 2 for events like parades when they need it for other agencies like LEU to communicate). But it sounds much better on the DTRS talkgroup.
You will be better off programing the talkgroups for Longmont, and use the Longmont Sunset, Bald North, and Mead control channels. Then you won't miss anything. If you need any help, feel free to contact me.

Nathan, what is the TG id's for Longmont for the ambulance to hospital patient reports and to go out on calls? Is it Pridemark?
Jim, do I need the 2 zeros 0072? It only takes 72 on mine.

I don't use the zeros. Just 72 works in my pro-106, and it is AMR and they are housed at the Longmont Fire Stations.

It looks like Longmont Fire Dispatch is TGID 9522. Fire operations on 9523, 9524, 9525, and 9526 wouldn't be a bad idea to program in as well.

Bald in Larimer picks them up as well as a few other sites but this should get you what you want

Mead is hit and miss for Longmont Fire, Bald is much more reliable.
