I'm in Albany NY and I've been picking up what sounds like a refueling exercise on 276.5000. Call signs include "dagger 3" "dagger 361""Jumbo". Pretty active at 13:45.

It appears to be pretty much over. Afterward I heard them on 125.000 Albany airport Vortac. I'm using a 396 with a RS duckie antenna and was able to hear both sides (air and ground) loud and clear, so I think they might be from Stratton ANGB in Schenectady.

yes 276.500 is used for air-refueling communications. I have heard it myself many times. As far as the aircraft being from the Stratton ANGB at the Schenectady County airport I dont believe so. The 109TH AW at the schenectady county airport is a C-130 Hercules Transport Aircraft unit called RAVEN OPS and they use the frequency of 340.800 MHZ AM mode.
