MilAir freqs

Hello all,
I will be at the beach (southern most NC and acroos the line in SC) toward the end of July. I would like to obtain a list of MilAir freqs for Shaw AFB and others that I could hear while on the beach. Any info including urls to other sites would be greatly appreciated. I live in the Baltimore area and enjoy hearing the Pittman units when they come up here to do the CAP flights.

...There are many more. This may get you started, the links in the previous post will be a great help (thats where I got most of mine). Don't forget to search the milair VHF freqs., lots of traffic on those in this area.

Thanks for the info. Since I use the ARC250 software to program my BC296 so I plan to setup several new files that I can use to reprogram using my laptop while I am at the beach. From your location do you pick up alot of comms from planes traveling to / from Pope AFB / Ft. Bragg area?

Try these also, Doubleshot controls the airspace off the SC coast. Shaw F-16s as well as Sc ANG F-16s use this airspace regularly. Search between 138-144 am for the a/a freqs.

127.725 Doubleshot VHF check in
279.725 Doubleshot UHF check in
258.400 Doubleshot discrete
381.350 Doubleshot discrete

Shaw FS Ops freqs:
311.200 55 FS "Shooter ops"
273.300 77 FS "Gambler ops"
320.525 79 FS "Tiger ops"
( The 78 FS was stood down a few yrs ago )

Sc ANG ops freq:
298.300 169 FW ops "Foxden"

I don't have any information on Gaintkiller ( Navy FACSFAC, Virgina Vacapes), but they do handle some of the traffic near where you are vacationing.
