MilAir is now 25KHz steps. It was changed from 50 some time ago when they elected to narrow the band somewhat by reallocating 380-400MHz to Fed Trunked.

Re: Westover Freqs & Info

800crazy1,
Listed below are some frequencies I found for Westover. I haven't monitored these myself. While this list is a good start, there is much more to hear if you have that level of interest. There are MOAs, (Military Operating Areas - training airspaces for air to air dog fighting) and AR Tracks & Anchors (Air Refueling training operations) in your listening area that will provide you with a lot of interesting comms to hear. Again, it all depends how much time you want to invest to understand how, where and when this training takes place and on what frequencies it's heard. Take a look at the info below.

Most of the uhf a.t.c. comms are still on the 100khz frequencies but many of the tactical stuff has moved to the 25khz steps.

You might try something I do on 800 MHz searches.

I have two 25 kHz step searches set up, but with different starting points, so I get only rounded frequencies or only splinter frequencies.

You can do a similar thing on the milair band by setting up two 50 kHz searches, one starting at 225.000 MHz and the other starting at 225.250 MHz. You could also do four 100 kHz searches, starting at 225.000, 225.250, 225.500, and 225.750 MHz. The last option would cover the entire band fastest.

Dave,

Wouldn't that be 225.0250, 225.0500, 225.0750 etc..? Since we're talking 25 KHz steps and not 250KHz. :?:
