Both of them are cruising around NYC and surrounding areas. Mentioned looking down over Newark and Jersey City. Heard them going by the Hamptons(over Long Island), joking about the size of the mansions. Every 25-30 minutes or so, they must be very close, comms are very loud, strong here in Brick, NJ. Mentioned picking up more fuel again. HUNTRESS still working both on 260.900. Hearing all on Pro-97 with Maldol AL-500H antenna.

1955 > CAP still in progress around NYC. HUNTRESS now working TANKER 02 & TANKER 03 on 260.900. New player in the CAP(PITMAN 33) female pilot. New a/a on 140.375.

I'm getting 260.900 loud and clear up here in Bergen County. SCANdal is right about the UN General Assembly meetings this week.

Loud and clear also here in northern Monmouth. This morning around 11 am, we actually heard the jet noise over head a few times. Reminded me of 9-11.

1530 LOCAL> 143.800 / PITMAN 51 declaring an EMERGENCY. They got him direct to McGuire AFB 40 miles out. HUNTRESS also on 260.900. Something about a "light on and the plane is not responding". They've got emergency personnel standing by now as I'm typing this. Was able to monitor spme more of this while I was enroute to work. The aircraft was descending to 6000 from 8000. HUNTRESS advised McGuire that he has a "hot Gun and 2 air-to-air missles on board". I was able to listen any more. Hope he landed okay.

Wed 09/20/06 at 8 am- Various aircraft working on 260.9 switching to 327.9 to meet up with tankers. SLAM 26, 33 IDs heard.

PITMAN 51 landed OK, had "flight control" problems. Had hot gun & 4 air to air missles.
This was a F-16 (flight of 2). Curious as to why he went to McGuire instead of Atlantic City which is a F-16 base. MAFB maintenance crews were asking if anyone had F-16 experience.

I think I recorded the comms. with the pilot saying he is dumping fuel......and his ears feel like they are going to blow... I will try to post it.
