I got home from work early, So I checked to see if Howard Or Pruitt was active and it was, so i turned on the scanner, and caught these recordings from my Pro-2052 on Frequencies
257.9 (Howard MOA), 319.9 (Howard MOA), 240.35-(Air Refuel AR318 Primary) and 260.2-(AR318)

I just walked in the door and grab my microphone to record these so, its kinda crappy quality, With that being said play it with the volume down first so you do get the crap scared outta ya!!!or worse hurt the ticker!!lol

These where received using just the stock antenna which leads me to believe i will receive much more when I get my external up..(I plan on the Antennacraft ST-4, gotta support the local businesses!!!!)

They are time lapsed to cut out dead air....

Its kinda big at 46.3mb so i couldn't attach them of course, you can Download them from File Factory (you don't have to be premium member, just hit "download with basic service")

Also listen for the 183rd (Springfield, il) in the Howard MOA on 138.475, 138.875, 138.900, 139.925, 141.500, 141.575. I'm hearing them on the last freq. as I type this. I heard them pretty regular the past 5 months, usually late morning and mid afternoon practicing engagements.

183rd in the Howard MOA

Here's what I recorded on one of the VHF freqs. June 5th. 1v2 scenario?
They will be shipping out by the end of this month, but the maintenance facility will remain open for a while.

My antenna / coax sux on UHF, I can barely hear the MOA primary.

I used freqs. posted here by Splash1 and the CARMA page. I've never heard much from the 182 tho.

Thanks splash!

Great Recording marauder!, I can't wait to get my scanner hooked to the sound card. Yeah I thought they got dispersed, just another BRAC Attack!! I figured out why I haven't heard anything on those freqs, I just found out my pro-2052 doesn't receive AM mode on I think 138-141 with out a Mod, which takes away a lot of air 2 air for me! That is what I get for not researching before I buy i guess lol. But other than that I think I'm with everyone else in saying the 2052 is a GREAT Milcom scanner...I can't wait to the the antenna and coax hooked up...

I found out the E-6A I heard refueling with the F/A-18's was also the Navy's AC # 164408

Also I receive a lot on AMC Command Post VHF 130.65 and UHF 319.4

But I'll tell ya AR318 is used just about Everyday/night, Its what I hear the most.
Then again I have seen a them a few times on clear days refueling overhead, I think If they need, they extend AR318 from IRK to BRL VOR's (Kirksville to Burlington)

Thanks Hawkeye. That was recorded with scanner recorder fed by a PSR-500. By all means get that outdoor antenna & mount it as high as practical. The difference is amazing. On occasion I'll hear planes over central MO. talking to the Farmington MO. RCAG on 319.0 with my 14+ year old rotten RG-6.

I hope to replace my current ratshack 20-176 with an OmniX and LMR-400 soon.

Here's another site I found posted here at RR.
