Does anyone know if Milford still uses 39.5000 and what tone they use? The reason why I am asking is that I heard some skip a couple days ago from the NE US. I cross referenced the address I have and checked it against the FCC ULS database. The one that comes up that it's most likely is Milford but I have found no reference of a tone that they use and want to see if the one that they use is what I heard. If anyone could help me it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, for Department of Public Works. Should be 136.5. This Freq used to be heavily used by all area DPWs but that's changed over the years.

Hmm thanks for the reply but I was hearing what sounded like EMS Dispatch. I am still trying to hunt it down. I am not sure if it's coming out of NH or another state.

Someone in Dispatch could have keyed up on the wrong channel or multiple channels at the time of Disp [not uncommon], any address to back-check via google/earth ?

I have heard them a couple times when the skip was rolling in from the Northeast. I have a couple addresses and tried to cross reference them but none of them all match one place that the FCC license matches.

Sorry, yes DPW freq is commonly simulcast for EMS and Fire dispatches - both for the town employees that may volunteer for either department as well as any road work that may be occurring in the way of the responding units.
