For those that are monitoring now, at 1040hrs CDT, check out 364.200am/NORAD AICC channel for c/s STARGATE/E8c JSTARS with communications checks with DRAGNET VICTOR/E3 AWACS aircraft. STARGATE currently orbiting over Kentucky. Good listening for fellow Ky Milair listeners. Great signal here in Warren County.

I w as listening earlier, and Stargate gave a 20 or 25 second countdown, every 5 seconds until "something". Then I didn't hear them on the frequency any longer..

Maybe it was just me. I was hearing them on my Pro-97 with only a duckie! No Joke!!

I had a BCD396 with stock ducky. Great reception, wish I had an external antenna though.
I think the VP will be back in the area on Monday or Tuesday, so may be a chance for more listening if all of it was related to his visit today.

BLUE ASH could be a reference to the 123rd ACS OH ANG based at
Blue Ash Municipal Airport north of Cincinnati.

Check out more action with c/s DIVER 21 /unk type a/c with a/a on 139.550am. Also talking with EAGLE Control on 285.625/Ft Campbell MOA, requesting clearance into the range. Now on 250.200am with STRIKER/poss gnd controller for ordinance drop. They have now dropped below line of sight so signal has faded. Asking for clearance for JDAM drop. 10/22/06 @ 1025HRS CDT. Anyone know what type a/c DIVER c/s associated with?

ALSO: Just in case anyone else did not know what a JDAM was (see above posts) look at this web site. I found it interesting...

Thanks Ben. I saw the MONIX website but it did not list any "Diver" c/s. I checked the RR wiki also on the c/s list and nothing. Sounds as though they made one run over in the MOA at Campbell and went home to SGH. Set your 996 up in custom search for the 138-144 am in .25khz steps.

The 178th TW uses a variety of callsigns. I have only listed the most common ones they use as its hard to keep track of all of them. That was probably them using the DIVER callsign. Yesterday in a Buckeye MOA sesssion they were using HARLEY, the other day they were using SLAM.

By the way I am in the process of completely updating and revamping the MONIX Military page, should be ready to go soon.

Mark: Thanks for the input. MONIX great site. With the DIVER c/s and an a/a of 139.55 that wasn't listed on the MONIX site I thought that the a/c may have been a visiting unit to SGH as Buckley is training ground for F16 units. All the best...

Mark,

Just wanted to say that MONIX is a wonderful site and served me very well while I was in Ohio. I did not realize that it appears to be your site. Thanks for all the information you have on it. It is very valuable.
