That's a nice list! Definitely something to keep - perhaps make it a Wiki page branched off the New England Milair page. I recognize several of these - 260.9 is Huntress, 311.0 is a Command Post common freq, 126.2 is a military tower liason freq (sometimes used when talking to commercial a/c) , 364.2 is another Huntress freq (tankers, sometimes...), 372.2 is, I think a common Pilot to Dispatch freq....both Boston and New York's ARTCC frequencies are available off the Mil wiki. It should be possible to pin IDs on several of these.

I'd strongly encourage you to build such a page - I can help when I get back from Mother's day in NJ after Sunday if you wish. 73s Mike

Keep the tieups coming, folks. In fact, if others have freq lists like the one above, feel free to post them - there are quite a few folks familiar with the milair world, it's very likely someone will be able to identify what you might be hearing. And don't be bashful about putting up a Wiki page for it - there aren't all that many milair-related sites that are accurate - the more we can put up, the more useful that section will become. 73s Mike

Many of those frequencies, of course, have been identified and listed on the NF2G Scannist Pages already.

Of course Dave is not telling everyone that he does not know everything that there is to know about scanning and frequencies and he never will. Dave seems to have a personal issue with me and I dont know why. I have never been rude or inconsiderate to him. His website does have alot of good information however it does not have everything. I have kindly e-mailed him on his website to inform him of frequencies that he did not have on his website. I'am simply on the webpages and forums for fun and I dont know why Dave has such a problem with me.

Actually you will not find alot of these frequencies on Daves website. Alot of these frequencies are ARTCC frequencies and Air To Air Refueling frequencies which Dave does not post on his website. He is only trying to promote his website on every post that I put up. So no you will not find alot of these frequencies on Daves not so perfect website.

Not that these freq's would help me much living on the west coast, but I know that if someone is pimping their website in threads on another website, that alone is enough to make me NOT want to visit that site. Just my opinion though. I could care less if freq's are posted somewhere else. I come here to look for stuff...not some other random website someone decided to pimp on a larger, more successful page.

I am defending my website against your untruthful attacks, not promoting it. You keep posting your "discoveries" which are already published. Just because you haven't found them does not mean that they aren't there. Or have you found them and maybe just want the credit? Not an accusation, just a suspicion.

(Reported to Moderators - strike three?)

No I'am not trying to take credit for any frequencies. These frequencies were assigned by the FCC long before you or I ever had our websites. Your website is a good one I just dont know why you keep advertising it on every post I put on the forums.

Stop this attacking now.

Please read carefully the PM I have sent you in response to the ones you sent me.

Dave, I would appreciate it if you just ignored this poster. It is apparent that your efforts and support have only increased the scanning community's knowledge. Your detractor in these past couple of weeks was noticed even before these unwarranted attacks. If you find any more such attacks, please just continue to report in the same manner as previously but don't be baited by him/her.

maybe I'm missing something, but how are they baiting? they provided freq's and this other individual came in to pimp their site....Does this site simply side with those that have the higher post counts? "Stop this attacking now" What attacking? The OP is replying to to attacks from this high post count member that is pimping their own site and yes, making accusations that the OP is simply stealing freq's (which correct me if I'm wrong) which have been in an FCC database much longer than either site....and then after attacking and pimping their page, they run and cry to the mods. Sorry, but they and the mods come out looking like an ass in this situation, but whatever....it's your site...run it as you like and if that is pandering to high post count members I see who really controls the board...

EDIT: BTW, I did a search of recent posts by the OP and did in fact find that in many instances, this other individual comes along to pimp their site...call the OP wrong...or say the OP is nothing more than a newbie that really can't add anything to the hobby. DaveNF2G is the one that has been attacking time and time again in thread after thread all while making sure to pimp his site covering upstate New York (yes, it's hard to forget that since he makes sure to hammer that fact home in nearly every post). Not only do the admins appear horribly biased in this issue, but the attacks against "newbies in the hobby" only hinders the hobby and will only lead to less and less people getting involved because why take part when holier than thou members will only ***** slap you into next week for trying to contribute....but making sure to inform you that their site is the end all and be all of frequencies for a given area, so don't try to provide any useful information because obviously they already have it.

I am glad that you researched the posts and I see that you have been a member for more than a little while, so I am sure you have read the Etiquette and the Forums post by the webmaster. I have supplied a link to it so that you may refresh your memory, especially points 5, 8 & 9. Since you have no access to the PM's mentioned in my post directed to cookiend15, you are not in a position to render an informed opinion, you should remember that in the future.
