I have a Uniden BCD996XT scanner and have it programmed with what I want to listen to through RR. My problem is, during scan it's also scanning the RACING, MILITARY AIR, FM BROADCAST, PUBLIC SAFETY, and who knows what other bands that I have no interest in listening to. How do I eliminate these bands from the scanner?

Thanks.

Jim

I believe you have to do FUNC+L/O+L/O to make it permanent - I think only doing that once works just for that session as a temporary lockout....best regards..Mike

Should have a option to erase all systems and settings when you do a upload of what you want, if you want a more permanent solution.
I know freescan has that as thats what I use.
I have the same scanner.

I stand corrected. Thanks Mike. I can verify this is correct. One push of L/O (after pressing FUNC) will temporarily lock out that system. A quick double tap will lock it out for good, until you unlock it again.
