I purchased the MilTenna UHF Air Band Log Periodic, from Dave at DPD Productions. I placed the order on 05/26, Friday evening, right before the holiday weekend. Much to my surprise it was delivered today! Dealing with Dave has been a real pleasure, very professional, answered all my questions, and he makes a high quality product!
Considering it's about 90 degrees today, I didn't run out and put it on the roof (yet). Being very anxious to try it, I hung it on the wall of my monitoring office. I'm so impressed with the performance, I'll be in no panic to mount it outside. But I'm certain when I do, it will open up some new monitoring opportunities for me!
