• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

This is the first year that I will be scanning down at the air show and I was wondering if anyone had any good frequency lists for the show. I will reply later with my own findings later this evening.

Platform Freqs

-Suggest searching around between 128.825 to 132.000 once the show gets going. They used an ARINC frequency in this range for the platform control, which was located on a nearby rooftop. Try AM mode and 25 Khz steps. No guarantees...

General Mitchell Field ATC freqs probably worth a listen, too.

Try these for the T-Birds:

141.850, 143.850, 322.950, 235.250 all AM mode

Golden Knights: 123.425, 123.450, 123.475

The Milwaukee County Sheriff will definitely be very heavily patrolling the area, especially due to their new campaign. There should also be general Milwaukee County Parks staff down there. My other guess would be to keep checking FRS and GMRS.

Milwaukee Co Sheriff has been patrolling the Lakefront & Lincoln Memorial Dr in force this year with their new Parks unit, since the mayor and other people at city hall seem to be worried about hurting the feelings of all the people causing problems.
The main talkgroups for the sheriff units by the lake and all the county parks are 22896 & 22672

Was a good show this weekend, I was their both Sat and Sun @ 11am. They took some stuff out of Sundays show but it was still good. Went through lot's of water but the heat wasn't too bad down their. Got down their early both days and parked myself under a tree. Had lot's of people around me once they figured out I could listen to the pilots and the such,LOL.
