Does anyone know why the Thunderbirds are without the #4 aircraft? They were flying today without him.
There was a two-ship practice earlier in the day which was very uncharacteristic. Sounded like they were practicing just small segments of the show. And their full practice in the afternoon was later than usual (done by 4 typically?). Strange.

Frecce Tricolori is an amazing performance. They are 8ncredibly skilled and their show was a lot of fun to watch at CLAS this year
It was really good at practice. Looking forward to this one as much as any other, possibly! Not often you see ten jets in close formation!

Did anyone find any additional frequencies? I don’t recall hearing an air boss, and expected the TB’s to have at least one more. Anyways, this was pretty good coverage and a great airshow!

Nothing else found on Friday during practice - which was approximately an hour later than what most people expected.

Never found airboss frequency although 123.150 seemed to be busy with some coordination during practice runs.

Had prior commitments Saturday and Sunday - wasn't expecting much for Sunday given the overcast conditions of the forecast.

Regardless, got to see a good two days of practice runs.

Good catch, 16-685! Did they just use that ONE frequency for air/air? I was wondering if they used a second frequency channel for when they split the formation. Thanks in advance. I'm going to see them fly in NY and we'll be searching.
