I know that Skip passed away several years ago. But last time we had severe weather here in the area, I tuned to 146.910 and there was no weather net. Just a bunch of HAMS talking about whatever like they usually do. Did SKYWARN move to a different HAM frequency or are weather nets becoming a thing of the past on HAM radio?
I know that a few TG's on WISCOM become active during severe weather.

I believe the 91 repeater does still host weather nets from time to time but since Skip passed away its not nearly as active as it once was, 145.130 is used as a relay channel to NWS Sullivan and NWS does talk on RCALL interop WISCOM talkgroups to update dispatch centers of any changes in the weather and for watches and warnings

Good info thanks. Also, TG 2615 on OASIS is a good one. It's the announcement TG for Mitchell International. Often times you may hear weather alerts such as lightning strikes nearby.
