I just got a kenwood NX-320 off of eBay and was wondering if there was a way to monitor MATC's nexedge system. As far as I know it's conventional. Any help would be great

As long as it is conventional you will be fine, which it appears to be.

Add the frequencies to the radio, were it asks for a RAN code leave the entry as "none". This will allow the radio to pass any NXDN traffic heard on the channel. According to the MATC license they are using 6.25Khz channels so you will need to set the modulation from narrow to very-narrow.

If you want to try and figure out what RAN they are using you can set up 63 channel with all 63 RANs and scan them to figure out which ones they are using. If you are able to figure it our you could then submit it.

Have fun, let me know how it works.

Your idea worked perfectly. I was wondering why i wasnt getting audio until i set the frequency as very narrow mode. I actually was able to figure out the RAN codes too

Great, the bandwidth is commonly over looked. I work mainly with the ICOM radios which only do 6.25, I feel the 6.25 actually out performs 12.5 slightly.
