Yes the City of Milwaukee police and fire departments are on a 800Mhz digital trunked radio system called OpenSky which is unmonitorable
I’m listening on the Unication G5 and just heard MCSO. Sounded good here in Germantown. I’m very interested in greenfield move.
Me too, will be nice to just scan 1 System.
You have a G5? I wonder who this is lol.
New Berlin (Waukesha County) is scheduled to switch over to OASIS on Thursday, April 12. Police, Fire, EMA, and Public Works.

Greetings...
Is it just New Berlin? Is this going to be a 'cold turkey' type cut-over (No patch to WCTRS)? If so, I wonder how its going to work with WCC since they share a channel/talkgroup with Butler PD.
Remember when it was announced that several Milwaukee County agencies were going to 'Cut-Over' to OASIS, but it was only patches connecting MCTRS with OASIS.

luv2ride_hd...your new uniden bhp436 should allow you to listen to just about everything you want to on the new Digital Oasis system, for both Milwaukee County & Waukesha County. As for the City of Milwaukee, it operates on a system which is internet based called OpenSky and can not be monitored with a scanner. You will need to download the Uniden Sentinel software if you want to program your 436 with a computer, or purchase a 3rd party programming software.Hey guys I used to be into scanning a long time ago (20yrs) and am getting back into it. Wow have things changed. Ive been reading and sorting things out the best I can. My scanner arrives today (uniden bhp436) I wont have an issue programing it with my comp, at least I dont think so
I'm in Tosa & of course would like to listen to them. Doesnt seem to be an issue, Milwaukee police however seems to be digital if I read this correctly. Does this mean its a no go for scanning?
