Milwaukee - Potawatomi LTR

Is anybody else in Milwaukee able to pick this system up? I have it programmed in my 246 but have never heard anything from there. The only other LTR I have programmed is UWM and while I don't monitor it much I can always hear security or the student transports. I was thinking maybe it was a lower powered system or something. The only reason I thought that is because UWM is actually further away than Potawatomi. For the record I live a few blocks from the airport, if that helps at all.

Kinda figured that, maybe next time I have the radio in the car I'll drive by on the freeway and see what happens.

Did a quick inquiry search - These are all the freq's currently on file for the corporation's location in Milwaukee... do you have ALL of these?...

Nope sure dont have all of those. I only have the ones that are listed here in the database. Which are about 6 of them. Guess there is a bit of tinkering to do. Perhaps after football.

Howdy All....

Well, this system is somewhat lower in power than most LTR systems in the area. I would say within 5 miles or so you should start getting the system in (Depending on what's between you and them).

I use to be able to pick the system up from 84th and Morgan area if I put the radio in the right window (I was on the second floor).

As for the frequencies....

(01) 461.7875 / (04) 463.2875 / (07) 463.5375 / (10) 463.8375 / (13) 464.4625 / (17) 464.6625 / 464.7375

Those other frequencies that are licensed were mostly used for thier conventional system they had before this Trunked Radio System. However, I have heard some simplex on UHF frequencies that sounded like they may be originating from Potowatomi. It's possible those other freqs are still being used in secret.

Honestly, I have been on 12-15 hour days the past week, so I havent had much time for anything other than sleep and eat. I look forward to trying some stuff when the time comes, maybe this weekend...time will tell.
