Hi - Just bought a BC780XLT and have coded
in the Milwaukee (&suburbs). I want to put
in the Greenfield/Weat Allis/Franklin track

What is a Mot- IIi I have found 2 different
setups for this - which is correct?

Any help appreciated.

The Greenfield TRS is no longer a type 1 hybrid system. When West Allis went to the Milwaukee County TRS, Greenfield's TRS was made into a Motorola type 2 system.

The system will work best if entered as a type 2 system.

I know the 2005 Police Call Guide shows a fleet map for the system, but this is wrong.

Greenfield's new Type II system is digital capable, and will be as soon as they determine it's ready.

Milwaukee County is also starting to phase in digital equipment, but that changeover will be years down the road.
