Minden PD in Webster Parish

Does anybody know where the Minden PD has gone to? I have not heard any traffic all week. I still hear the Parish, but Minden PD has gone ominously quiet. I plugged in some 800mghz channels that the City has leased but no chatter their either. Anybodys help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you listened to the state system in search mode? It is possible that they moved to the state system. They may be anticipating the expansion of LATIE and are using the current state system waiting for the expansion to happen.

I have been listening to the state system to see if I can catch some Minden PD traffic, but i havnt as of yet. The Minden Pd sys is a pretty busy system and the state system up here is relatively quite. I hear the St. Police, Camp Minden, and the forestry service, but have them L/O. I am at a loss at the moment......? ? ?

That is the kind of thing that is just frustrating. I normally would not recommend this, but if you have a scanner with a "close call" type feature, driving around looking for a traffic stop or some kind of PD presence (maybe where they grab coffee?) might be in order.

Nothing has happened to Minden PD on 154.115 I am working Minden Pafforrd ems today and just talked to them on that freq....Jerry

Based on the previous posts, could you have somehow changed the PL on your programming?

Well I cannot explain it, maybe they had some probs for past week or so, or maybe I somehow changed the pl tone. I can now hear them again, on the same pl I am sure was already there. Hmmm go figure, and thanks for everybodys help. I apologize for the false alarm.
