Hello,

Who makes a reasonably priced tool to crimp the center pin on the Motorola mini uhf connectors? I've got the tool to crimp the outside but it won't do the center pin. Soldering just isn't working out for me.

Thanks!

Whats the problem with soldering the center? I've done a few and didn't have that problem, just curious.

Hi Scott -
I believe he is using a mini-uhf crimp conn to start with and some of them have
an aluminum center pin made to crimp and solder does not adhere well or at all
to aluminum.

Ahh yes ok.

The ones i have used were a brass center that was silver plated.
