I received Motorola Field Service Bulletin FSB10884 from my system operator. It says resolution should be by end of July 2014. Has anyone heard anything about this? Was it resolved? I don't think this was the same issue as the previous issue with non-standard A tones solved with a firmware update.
Are they going to make a case for the Amp charger so I can carry that on my belt?
SUBJECT: Minitor VI Pager - static/noise heard on receipt of page or a page may be missed completely under certain low RF signal conditions.
MODEL / SYSTEM AFFECTED:
VHF models: A03JAC8JA1AN, A03JAC9JA1AN, A03JAC8JA2AN, A03JAC9JA2AN
SYMPTOM:
Users may report static/noise heard on receipt of page or a page may be missed completely under certain low RF signal conditions.
WORK-AROUND / MITIGATION:
Use of the pager in a charger amplifier base (RLN6506A) and VHF Antenna (RLN6507A) will improve the Minitor VI performance under low RF signal conditions.
CAUSE:
Under investigation by engineering

No date for resolution is available at this time.
• This bulletin will be updated and reissued after the solution is identified and available.
