• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

This is a large and very visible forum. We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. Please respect this.

I ordered through Minitor Programming and have not been able to get a hold of anyone after I placed my order and I still have not received my order. Has anyone ever dealt with this Company? I believe Andrew is a active member here on RR based off of the email mojo3120@gmail.com which was the address used to last contact me regarding my order. I fear that this may be a scam due to the lack of response from emails to both mojo3120@gmail.com and minitorprogramming@gmail.com AND multiple phone calls to the number listed on minitorprogramming.com. I have been searching the web for contact numbers for Andrew and have found that there are many numbers which all have the same recording. Does anyone have any feedback or know if This guys is around?

Ping me an email via the Email button on here. I can't PM or email you because you are new still.

Unfortunately I can't pm or see your email either. I'm not sure when the PM or Email function gets turned on.

I did look up the info for the web page. I called that number as well as some other "businesses" that have the same address. All go to the same message which is a automated message saying "Andrew" is not available. Not confidence inspiring,

Looks like he's bundling hacked/bootleg Motorola software in with his hardware interfaces. That's not going to end well...

Looks like he has tried to start a few "businesses" all have contact info that goes to voice mail and all have the same message. His address is a house that has his car (white 3000 gt?) parked out front on google street view. Same car used in his signature on another forum dealing with that kind of car. Still no luck getting a hold of anyone.

The Motorola Pager software(s) are free to download. Anyone can download it.

Redistributing it though, that's probably a different story.

I have delt with them and they suck. It took forever for my order to come in. And even be shipped. I did multiple emails that went unanswered. After the order shipped i got a response. Everthing i got from them worked good though still no issues. Comes with drivers disks and directions that are ver helpful. .

UPDATE: I did finally get the item I ordered from minitorprogramming.com. The items worked as advertized. I have not, however, heard back from Andrew and would call his customer service non-existent.
