Does anyone know if the state patrol CSO's use a different radio ID?

I have a bunch of oddball Trooper ID's logged such as 1753, 2502 or 2603 and was wondering if those were special units or if they are just oddballs and nothing more than that...

Also, do CVI troopers have their own numbering system, such as there being a CVI 334 and a trooper 334, or is there only one trooper 334 who is also a CVI?

2502 is district 25- West metro LT and 2603 would be St. Cloud Lt.
I believe the 17-- units are CVI who are not POST Board certified officer and 3 digit cvis would be State Troopers assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit.

Wirelessly posted (Palm Pre: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 1.5; en-us; SPH-M900 Build/CUPCAKE) AppleWebKit/528.5+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.2 Mobile Safari/525.20.1)

I've always wondered about some of their unit IDs as well. Not sure about the CSOs.

Here's what I have figured out:

CVIs are 16xx, 17xx, and 47xx and there are also some troopers that are also CVIs.

24xx, 25xx, etc are supervisors

9xx units are aircraft pilots.

Units starting with the letter K are DNR conservation officers.

81xx are FIRST units. They are normally on their own TG but sometimes call on the Patrol TG when they need a vehicle towed.

Once in a while I hear "Car xx". Not sure what those are.

Do the non-sworn CVI's have their own take home vehicle and keep the same radio ID every shift, or do they change unit ID numbers? Also, Do the Sups consistently use the same ID, or is it a floating thing?

...Dredging up an old thread here...

Anyone have an idea what the 51xx units are? I just heard one log into the 2800 Dispatch channel for training at Ripley.
