Hey gang. Getting my radio ready for the long trip down south. I have been going to the Salinas Air Show for the past 2 years, now I am going to Miramar for their show.

Does any one have any idea of the freq. schedule for events. I have the MT air show for 05 and 06 as well as the tentative schedule for Miramar.

Was hoping that someone out there will have something as this is just next week.

Cheers and I hope to meet some of you fine folks there!

Cheers
Benmin

I will tell you that the "Wall Of Fire" in the evening is a spectacle that can't be missed. I've been to countless airshows, seen Chuck Yeager break the sound barrier, Seen aircraft crash, (i.e. the F16 at El Toro and the Mig at Miramar) even been out on the tarmac at Miramar and been part of the show. I was in the car pulling Dan Buchanan up in his Hang Glider and stomped out the fires after it was on the ground. etc., but the "Wall of Fire" is probabaly the most amazing thing I've ever seen or experienced. Stay for the evening performance. You will be glad you did.

BTW, Dan will be at the Miramar airshow and the Edwards AFB airshow this year.

Thanks!
I was wondering. Is there any "air Boss" freqs" that I sould know about at the show or just use the air/ground freqs of MCAS?

I have just about everything else.

Thanks for all of the help guys!!

I cant wait.

I have seen the wall of fire here in Salinas and it was the coolest. I felt the heat from the bleachers!

Thanks again all for all and any help!

Cheers!

I would plugin all the Blue Angels freqs you find since they might use different ones. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks again. I just checked into the hotel. We are sooooo close to the whole thing you can hear them take off and fly over. I had a long drive so I could not check freqs. I will let you all know what ones are active after the show.

Cheers!

OK, the show was great Tons to see and do.
The weather was great... not too hot not too rainey.
The BA's used the fat albert freq and #17.

Good times. The F-15 heritage did not fly but will be there for the rest of the week.

Here is my file that I used today.

Thanks to all who added to the freq list, and I hope that this helps next year. Here is to one heck of a drive home.

I did see one other person in the flight deck that had a scanner, he was taking a heck of alot of pictures...

Again, Cheers!
