Is it something on my end, or did most of the options for listening from the Broadcastify site disappear? For example, I no longer see Windows Media Player in the dropdown list when picking a format to use.
Out of curiosity, what browser doesn't support the HTML5 player? Thanks for the confirmation. But the embedded browser players don't work for everyone.
So use the static URL instead. Thanks for the confirmation. But the embedded browser players don't work for everyone.
A note on that. Even though I'm logged in, when I clicked play, it asked for a login. My creds do work, but I would have expected the login to pass through. @blantonlSo use the static URL instead.
Without getting into the nitty-gritty details, the problem isn't the browsers themselves but rather workplace security settings that do not allow audio to be played within a browser without frequent interruptions.Out of curiosity, what browser doesn't support the HTML5 player?
The static URL plays in the browser as well, so it has problems too.So use the static URL instead.
Can you use the static URL in WMP?Without getting into the nitty-gritty details, the problem isn't the browsers themselves but rather workplace security settings that do not allow audio to be played within a browser without frequent interruptions.

Yes, that was the point I was making. Copy static URL, open in media player of your choice. Can you use the static URL in WMP?
My question was more of can you point WMP at a URL manually. I know VLC has the option of "Open Network Stream", but have no idea if WMP has a similar option, since I haven't used it in a long time.Yes, that was the point I was making. Copy static URL, open in media player of your choice.
