Hey guys, last night when I shutdown my Unitrunker dedicated laptop WinXP, on it's own ran, a Check Disk diagnostic scan on the hard drive. I wasn't paying very close attention but it looked like it said it had corrected a few errors.

This morning when I started up Unitrunker I'm missing a whole bunch of labels on my Radio IDs. The Group labels are still there but the Site labels were also missing.

I have to assume the disk check is related. Any thoughts? Is there anyway to "roll back" via a backup file and restore all my now missing labels I spent a lot of time typing in?

I'm still running the old "DOS window" version of Unitrunker at this point.

Thanks.

In the new program, this would be a snap.

Nope, sorry. You're doomed to retyping. Make a backup.

Even with the archive feature of the new program - it is still a good idea to make an external copy of the data - in case the whole hard drive turns to dust.

Figures my luck. My last backup is pre Hurricane, I do have a list of over 100 RIDs I've yet to type into the program but I'm not sure how many I'd wipe out vs. recovering by reverting back that far.

I've been waiting for some free time to switch over to the new version full time but guess this will be my excuse. I never could get the colors how I wanted them before so I switched back to the old version.

Thanks for the response, I still love this program.

Just a question.... How couldn't you get the colors to how you wanted them with the new version? You have unlimited choices (only limitation is your video card).

Hey Aaron, I basically want the colors exactly like they are in the DOS version. I can't remember the exact problems I ran into, it was pre-hurricane, but I don't think I could get the frequencies to switch colors so they'd show up on the black background.

Well it turns out my entire RID file was wiped out by Windowns somehow. Reverting back to my old file will at least restore some of my older input. It was easy to do by just copying over the .RID file.
