Hello,
As I said in this thread, the Notes.txt file explains why there can be different files in the update zip files and why there can be missing files.

"The first .zip file generated for you and sent via an email link contains all the new/changed files since the last public release. Subsequent zip files only have new/changed files since the last generated zip file. The problem with this scheme is you need to get every released zip file sent to you and use it to update your DSDplus folder in version order. "

When they release a new version, I create a backup folder with the current version number and copy all files into the backup folder I created.
I sometimes leave out the large raw audio files that are created if you are using that option.
Once I've copied all the files from my working version to my backup folder, I then extract all the new version files and place them into the main dsdplus folder overwriting any files with the same name.
This has always worked well for me and allows me to go back to any older version since starting my FL subscription.
Hard drive space is cheap and plentiful. The space used for keeping all these backup folders from older versions is minimal and not even noticed.
I'll also place a text copy of the email included with each version in case the password changes for extracting the files which it did for the first time from me with the last version.
