Missing Person Search (Chester)

West Goshen Twp., Chester County

Approx 2130 hours, West Goshen PD dispatched to 400 blk MacKenzie Dr for the report of a missing female in her 70s, unknown (unconfirmed) clothing description, suffering from alzheimer's. West Chester and West Whiteland PDs along with First West Chester (51), Goodwill Fire (53) and Chester County DES Comm-1 Mobile Command Unit also on scene assisting; first fire dept units dispatched at around 2340. No air assistance available due to weather conditions.

Update: Subject found

At 0155 yesterday morning, Assistant Chief Ronayne from Station 51 reported that a resident in the neighborhood had located the patient nearby, reportedly following a "reverse 9-1-1" call (when the county's DES contacts residents of a neighborhood to alert them of urgent emergency information). No further info on p/ts condition, but she didn't appear to need EMS.
