In a recent thread, it was discovered that the programming shortcut for the PRO-97 didn't mention that, when programming a trunk system, each frequency in the trunk must have the same mode setting as the bank. If, for example, you set a bank for MO (Motorola) trunking, this means that every frequency you program for this bank must also have a MO mode setting.

I've already added this detail to the 97 and 2055's shortcuts but that got me to thinking (yeah, it's dangerous) - do the PRO-92 and 96 (along with their mobile radio cousins) need the same procedure? If so, then that detail should also be added to their shortcut articles.

Only for frequencies that are part of the trunk system will have to be set to the MODE of the trunk system (MO, ED, LT). The user can also add conventional FM frequencies and AM (Aircraft) requencies in the same bank and set the MODE accordingly.
