Does anyone have the transmit frequencies for Hardin County? Almost all are missing.

Also, if I were looking for other Transmit Frequencies in other counties, how would one find them out using the FCC database?

Thanks!

It's a little challenging. If you look at either WQGJ505 (HARDIN, COUNTY OF) FCC Callsign Details or ULS License - Public Safety Pool, Conventional License - WQGJ505 - HARDIN, COUNTY OF - Frequencies Summary you'll see a column called "Class" or "Station Class". Frequencies shown as "MO" are mobile, which can be either repeater input frequencies or "regular" simplex frequencies.

There is no way of discerning from the FCC license which input frequency is paired with which repeater output frequency, at least in the VHF High band spectrum. With UHF and 800 bands, frequencies are paired a little more predictably. For example a repeater output frequency of 460.550 will have an input frequency of 465.550.

At the end of the day, its pretty much academic. The repeater output frequency is what most scanner listeners are interested in programming. If you try listening to the input side, you have to be pretty close to the transmitting unit to hear it.

Thanks for explaining the process. I think I'll program in their listed frequencies as just receive channels and see which ones talk to each other when I'm in the area. Just have to remember to take notes and change my programming around.

As far as repeater output frequencies go, I think what is listed is accurate. I can receive Hardin SO, EMS and fire pretty well up here in Louisville. E-town/Radcliff/Vine Grove are sporadic, though when I'm in the Hardin County area, I hear them.

Will not guarantee these are correct, but researching the license, especially the ones that were canceled and consolidated to their current call sign here is what I believe the inputs are:

155.9400 - input 158.9400 Sheriff
155.9700 - input 153.8675 ??
156.2100 - input 154.0400 FD Mutual Aid
158.7525 - input 153.8000 SO Mutual Aid or Fire Paging??

These are confirmed:

159.1800 - input 153.8825 EMS
151.0400 - input 156.1050 Jail
156.1650 - input 151.1600 County Roads
