ProScan: Missing Web Server Audio On Non-ID'd TGs

I am successfully able to stream audio for most agencies that I have a TG listed for. But it appears that for streaming to work, the TG needs to be setup for record but I'm don't see any reference to that in the user manual.

My second related question. The trunking system in my area is somewhat new and there are new agencies/TGs appearing periodically. So while I have known agencies defined by their TGs in an ID Scan System, I also have another System setup with ID Search so using the History Logging, I can see new TGs come on-line.

The disadvantage of this is, that is if an otherwise known and listed TG is received in the ID Search System instead of it's ID Scan System, no Web Server streaming is done.

Any work around for this?

Audio is always streaming. It's just a low level noise due to lack of audio out of the scanner REC jack.

{edited}
I didn't understand the second related question disadvantage part so I'll just go by the title 'Missing Web Server Audio On Non-ID'd TGs'
On the system that's set for ID Search, if you want all the channels to have audio out of the REC jack then set the system level Record option to 'All Channels' then upload to the scanner.

but I'm don't see any reference to that in the user manual.
See the Easier to Read BCD996P2/XT Digital Scanner Manual Search for 'Set Record'

Recording the desired TGs is working as desired. It's the Web Server audio streaming that I'm trying to figure out.

Are Record and audio streaming from the Web Server supposed to have any interaction? Until I checked this box, I wasn't getting any streaming audio when this TG was active.

The System I have set to ID Search will not stream audio from a TG that does not have a TGID Name associated to it. However TGs in that system with a TGID Name will stream. I didn't know if this is normal or if I was overlooking a setting?

BTW, thanks for an outstanding program! So many features I have yet to explore.

Your usage of terminology is confusing to me. Are you using the ProScan web server, or using ProScan source client to stream audio to some service (Broadcastify, Icecast, Shoutcast)?

Or are you using recorded output from ProScan as input to some other software to stream?

Recording has no dependency on streaming (or other way around), as long as you are using ProScan to stream.

Just using the built-in Web Server in Proscan to stream out to a browser.

If the Record setting doesn't have any connection to streaming audio from the Web Server, I wonder why after checking the Record box in my screenshot above, audio starting streaming from that TG?

The term 'Record' doesn't necessary mean recording only. Think of it this way: 'Record' enables audio out of the REC jack.

Got it. That's why only TGs assigned to Record are streamed since the REC jack is connected to the computer soundcard input.
I would need to connect EXT SP to the soundcard input to stream all received signals. But that eliminates the ability to ignore stuff I don't want to record.

Correct

You can use the EXT SP jack to selectively record channels. Check the option 'Lookup Record Flag From Database'. It's located in the Recorder tab. The channel level Record option needs to be checked along with the system level Record option set to Marked Channels.
