Seems they don't get much calls , no tones for fire or medical , for the size of the city scanner been silent

There aren’t tones over the radio. I’ve never tried it but there’s a POCSAG frequency out there for paging listed in the database.

Apparatus are dispatched in another form and then come on the radio to confirm they're on route and are given details.

Wouldn’t say it’s silent… they do 30,000+ calls a year. It’s certainly not like listening to Toronto where there’s a medical call every 3 seconds, but I listen fairly frequently and there’s lots of activity on the system between Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon.

Does this happen to still be online today? Broadcastify node has since been taken off a couple weeks ago.
